We are looking for volunteers who can offer logistical support during Entitle’s International Conference ‘Undisciplined Environments’, taking place at KTH in Stockholm from 20-23 March, 2016. Read on to find out how you can volunteer.

Do you want to experience four days of networking and engaging with scholars and activists from all over the world, reflecting on environmental conflicts and social movements? Then you should join our volunteer team! Volunteers will be granted:

The international conference UNDISCIPLINED ENVIRONMENTS will be held on March 20 to 23, at the Students’ Union House (Kåren), on the KTH campus in Stockholm. The conference is part of the activities of ENTITLE – The European Network of Political Ecology, an FP7 ‘Marie Curie’ Actions Project.
With Undisciplined Environments we propose to challenge narrow disciplinary approaches which we believe are inadequate to radically meet the social-ecological challenges that our societies are facing. Placing Stockholm, and Sweden, once again at the forefront of the environmental debate, the conference will be a place for discussing environmental and climate justice, indigenous ecologies and resistance, and grassroots empowerment in the sustainability agenda.
With 90 parallel sessions (panels, roundtables and experimental sessions), and a number of artistic interventions (films, photo and visual art exhibits, poetry and drama performances), the conference will bring together around 400 attendees. The programme includes a number of prominent political ecology scholars, activists and artists from around the world, making it one of the most popular scholarly events in the fields of political ecology and environmental humanities. The three plenary sessions will address: Decolonial Political Ecology; Post-capitalist Ecologies; Enclosures vs. Commoning. The event will be concluded by an Undisciplined Activism workshop.
